What is it?
A slow and cozy class! We take deep, gravity based stretches and combine them with muscle release exercises using foam rollers, yoga blocks and massage balls.
Why should I do it?
In a ‘fast’ world we often don’t take time to slow the pace. This class forces you to take 5 and dial down the noise for a bit. It’s a great introduction to stretch and release with only a few exercises, all mat based with easy transitions between them all.
What should I expect?
Using a selection of props we position our bodies so we can focus on guiding our ligaments and muscles into supported stretch which in turn not only helps their flexibility but also helps to slow and calm the nervous system. We use massage balls to release tight spots and foam rollers to aid movement but also promoting blood flow to tight fascia. The lights are low, the music slow and the pace restful.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that you can easily move in, and maybe something warm in the winter months
